Can't Explain
'Can't Explain' is an invaluable resource for all parents going through difficult times associated with family breakdown. It tells the story of a father's tortuous fight to win the right to retain contact with his only child after his marriage break-up. Although the characters in the book are fictional their story is based on real-life situations. It tells of the strange and desperately emotional events that unfolded over a number of years. It wasn't until it was too late for this father that he realised and fully understood he had been a victim of Parental Alienation. The story starts at the beginning of his relationship with his first wife. A couple of years into marriage the relationship starts to flounder and as the story unfolds the reader sees the darker side of the human psyche and how family relationships can be torn apart by separation and divorce. Sinister twists follow involving blackmail and false allegations of child abuse, and the systematic destruction of the loving parent-child relationship the father had shared with his daughter, as the child is taught to hate the once cherished parent. Throughout his ordeal the father keeps a journal as an outlet for his pent-up emotions, which ultimately turns out to be a true blessing. The story concludes with how he and others around him learn to cope with all the hurtful and terrifying consequences of Parental Alienation. He reflects on the perceived inadequacy of family law and the family court, whilst offering practical advice and suggestions to others who could easily find themselves in similar circumstances. As well as a fascinating, albeit sometimes harrowing, read this book can be viewed as a useful reference for anyone who suspects 'Parental Alienation' or 'Parental Alienation Syndrome' is affecting their lives in any way.

Jake Haggar has been kidnapped by his father who is threatening to sell the boy to a paedophile ring. Carlyle is struggling to get him back. It's not his case but it is his problem - it was his fault Jake was taken in the first place. But Carlyle's own caseload includes the murder of Agatha Mills. Her husband, Henry, has been arrested for murder but his explanation is so outlandish that Carlyle wonders if it may just be true. Agatha is the sister of William Pettigrew, a priest killed in Chile during the Fascist coup in 1973 and after 30 years of campaigning, Agatha was about to see his killer brought to justice. Friendless Childhoods Explain War
Friendless Childhoods Explain War uses the author's groundbreaking discoveries working with the UK's most dangerous offenders to cast an expert eye over international conflict. All such violence, he contends, is born of childhood experiences that lead to adult anger, grievance and revenge. From Toddler Thinking to Nursery Nightmares and Guff Disease the book lays bare prevailing thought on violent conflict - which should be avoided by building truth, trust and consent from an early age - not instilling seeds of hate that continue into adulthood. The author cites Mein Kampf, George Orwell, Shakespeare and his own professional records to show how negative experiences in childhood can lead to unspeakable adult acts of violence, even war.In a radical re-appraisal of the darkest side of human nature that no citizen or policymaker should ignore, he warns us that 'No-one is safe (or sane) unless we are all safe (or sane).'

Liobani : I Explain - Will You Join Me?
Liobani helps the youth, to find freedom in God and to take their life in hand: How do I find my type, my abilities? What is the right occupation for me? Liobani explains how young people can develop communication with the Free Spirit who wants to help in every situation, for example, in shaping our life, in preparing for exams, by choosing a life partner, in dealing with our fellow people ...She teaches how we can get to know ourselves more and more, and how we can come to understand what the events of the day want to tell us and much, much, more. An excerpt from the book: "The young person is like a young tree.He can still bend easily. An elderly person is like an old tree that has been firmly rooted in its place for decades and can no longer be bent; he follows his beaten track that he can leave only with difficulty. This means that in many aspects he finds it very hard to change his way of thinking, to counter his old human patterns with divine thoughts, to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. However, the love and grace of our heavenly Father in Christ make it possible for every human child to break old restrictions and patterns, to give up old habits, to find its way out of human stereotypical thinking patterns and to actualize the divine laws. The Lord of Life can do anything if the person is willing to change his way of thinking." A few more passages from the book: "To be with God does not mean to be bigoted, nor does it mean to affect piety and solely meditate. To be with God and in God means to radiate love, kindness and gentleness and to show understanding, tolerance and good will toward your neighbor. However, as you have already learned, this does not imply supporting your neighbor's self-will and thereby making yourself a slave to his will and desires. To be in and with God means to stand in the world and to correctly fulfill the tasks you have taken on; to support, help and serve those people who need help and service—but not to be servile or to help merely in order to be left in peace or to receive a service in return. Nor should you be servile at your place of work. Strive each day to conscientiously do the work assigned to you; then you will earn corresponding wages, for every just worker is due his wage. ..."
